Problem
Problem

Over 50% of small businesses in Uganda fail within 18 months. The leading cause is lack of data‑driven guidance on where to locate a business. Entrepreneurs guess, copy others, or rent the cheapest space available. Many entrepreneurs are more comfortable using Luganda than English, creating a language barrier.

How it works

How it works

User opens Venture and selects English or Luganda
User asks: "Nina sente 500,000. Nsobola okutandika ki?"
Chatbot extracts intent + location and calls the AI model
Recommendations appear in the selected language with revenue and survival probability
Impact on the $500B economy

Removes language barriers that exclude Luganda‑speaking entrepreneurs. Reduces business failure rates by 25–35%. Preserves startup capital. Creates more jobs. Encourages formalization across all language groups.

Scalability

Start with Uganda zones in English and Luganda. Expand to regional cities. Add more local languages (Swahili, Runyankore, Luo) in future phases.

Technology stack

Next.js frontend with Leaflet maps, Gemini API for AI location reasoning, live OpenStreetMap data for local anchors, and an i18n layer for Luganda translation.
